SEASONAL SPECIALS

ONGOING SPECIAL!
Irrigation tune-up—with 50% off on all new Matched Precipitation nozzles installed. Precipitation rate is the rate at which sprinklers apply water. The term "matched precipitation" means that all of the sprinklers on a particular zone are placing about the same amount of water on a given area. This is important for both your garden and water usage.

Landscape water-use represents one of the largest components of urban water demand. As a Qualified Water-Efficient Landscaper (QWEL), I can work with you to reduce landscape water demand by becoming more water efficient in landscape design, maintenance, and operation and through use of California's vast selection of native plants.

The North Marin Water District is sufficiently concerned from water use that it is offering home owners rebates for certain garden modifications. Please ask about this!

Both the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) WaterSense program and QWEL share the common goal of conserving water resources and promoting the importance of water efficiency. QWEL is one of two approved US EPA WaterSense Irrigation Auditor training programs in the nation and was developed in cooperation with the California Landscape Contractors Association (Cagwin & Dorward, GardenWorks, and Pacific Landscapes), Sonoma County Water Agency, City of Santa Rosa, Marin Municipal Water District and the colleges of Santa Rosa and Marin.

An 8.25% rate increase for MMWD customers went into effect on May 5, 2009. The revenues are to be used to maintain and improve the water delivery infrastructure and for conservation programs.
